Atsushi Mizushima is a partner of Nishimura & Asahi, Japan's largest law firm. He supports management of blue-chip companies and rising startups in designing execution strategies of their important corporate actions, including M&A, business alliance, fundraising, geographic expansion, IP strategy and lobbying, teaming up with the domain experts of the firm. Earlier, he was a starting member (business director) of WHILL, Inc., a Silicon Valley-based startup, where he achieved two rounds of VC fundraising totaling USD13MM. He is also a mentor at Boomtown Accelerator, a Colorado-based startup incubator and a committee member of Spacetide Foundation, an organization aiming at stimulating new space/aerospace businesses in Japan.
