Joel is the Director of Display Advertising Sales for Tripadvisor in Asia Pacific. Based in Trip Advisor’s regional headquarters in Singapore, Joel is responsible for driving the growth of its display-based advertising business, leading the sales team across Asia Pacific, including India and Japan. Joel has 20 years of experience across sales, advertising and travel in the media industry. Prior to working at Tripadvisor Joel, worked at Travelocity for 12 years. In his last role based in Singapore he led Travelocity’s Asia Pacific Sales Advertising and Operations 0rganization. He was also a member of the Executive Team that established the strategy within Asia Pacific. He possesses a comprehensive understanding of the travel media ecosystem and has vast experience working with travel suppliers and hotel connectivity systems (GDS CRS PMS).
