Rinko Yuki is an incoming 3rd year at University of California, San Diego, double majoring in Sociology with an emphasis on Social Inequality and Third World Studies along with an emphasis on pre-medicine. She is an avid animal activist and networker for shelter animals as well as a volunteer and foster for numerous local rescue organizations. She is also a sister of Alpha Sigma Omicron, a pre-health fraternity, giving back to the community through medical volunteering and outreach programs. Other volunteer works include humanitarian aid to Northern Japan through The Thousand Cranes Project, networking as Buddies for Buddies Rescue Network and COPE Health Clinical Care Volunteer at Riverside Community Hospital.
