I would like to share my social commitment as an animal activist in California as an example of a social good. Each day, thousands of dogs and cats are euthanized in local shelters due to the lack of kennel space created from a mass overflow of unwanted family pets. I along with many activists use Facebook, Instagram and other means of networking to let the public be aware of this problem and through social media we are able to connect rescue organizations, adopters and volunteers to save many lives. |
