Norihiko Sasaki was born in 1979. After graduating from the Faculty of Policy Management, Keio University, Sasaki joined TOYO KEIZAI INC. and was in charge of areas such as the auto and IT industries. He took leave in September 2007 and earned a Master's degree from Stanford University (concentration: international political economy). From November 2012, he became Editor-in-Chief of Toyo Keizai Online where he oversaw a publication with monthly page views in excess of 5.3 million. In July 2014, he joined Uzabase as a Editor-in-chief for NewsPicks, which is a fast-growing personalized business news curation service. He is also the author of "Are U.S.-made elites truly as great as they are made out to be?"(TOYO KEIZAI INC.) and "Can the media make money five years from now?" (TOYO KEIZAI INC.) regarding the future of the media industry.
